Giving yourself a few minutes to stretch is a great way to restore your body and relax.

It is good for flexibility of the muscles, increasing the range of motion in your joints, reducing stress and body aches and it can also help your posture and athletic performance.

Taking a few minutes to stretch before bed can also signal your body and mind to relax and ease into better sleep.

Some great stretches to consider are gentle neck stretches, cat and cow from yoga, seated stretches such as butterfly and straight leg forward fold, child’s pose,  as well and lying twist stretches on your back.
